Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Fluxicore LLC ('we,' 'us,' or 'our') collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use CrewDecide (crewdecide.com). We do not sell your personal data. We do not serve ads. This is a people-first platform.
1. Who We Are
CrewDecide is operated by Fluxicore LLC, a California limited liability company. References to 'CrewDecide,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our' in this policy refer to Fluxicore LLC. For privacy inquiries, contact us at support@crewdecide.com.
2. Age Requirement — 18 and Older Only
CrewDecide is an adult platform intended exclusively for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from any person under 18. As part of registration, we collect your date of birth to verify that you meet our age requirement. If we discover or have reasonable cause to believe that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their associated data. If you believe a minor has registered for the Service, please contact us immediately at support@crewdecide.com. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not direct our Service to children.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information: (a) Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, username, display name, and date of birth. Your password is stored as a cryptographic hash — we never store or have access to your plain-text password. (b) Profile Information: Optional display name and profile photo you choose to add. (c) Poll and Vote Data: Poll questions, options, descriptions, images, and media you upload; votes you cast and the options you selected; and any comments you submit when voting. (d) Age Verification Record: Your date of birth and the timestamp of your account creation serve as your age verification record. (e) Communications: If you contact us for support, we store your name, email, and message content. (f) Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited, collected for security, fraud prevention, and performance purposes. (g) Cookies and Session Data: Session tokens to keep you logged in and voter keys to prevent duplicate voting (see Section 6).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: operate, maintain, and improve the CrewDecide platform; verify that users meet our 18+ age requirement; authenticate your identity and maintain your session; send transactional emails you have requested, including poll notifications, crew invitations, and account-related communications; prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and duplicate voting; enforce our Terms of Service and community standards; respond to your support requests; analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service (we use privacy-preserving analytics only); and comply with applicable laws and legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for marketing purposes, or sale to third parties — ever.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect: payment card or financial information (the Service is free); precise geolocation data; phone numbers; social security numbers or government ID numbers; biometric data; or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed in Section 3.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
We use the following cookies and browser storage technologies: (a) Session Cookies: Required to keep you logged into your account during your browsing session. These expire when you close your browser or log out. (b) Voter Keys: Anonymous visitors who cast votes receive a randomly generated voter key stored as a browser cookie. This key is not linked to any personal identity and is used solely to prevent duplicate voting on a single poll. Voter keys expire after 90 days. (c) Preference Storage: We may use browser local storage to remember non-sensitive UI preferences such as display settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics services such as Google Analytics.
7. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes — ever. We may share information in the following limited circumstances: (a) Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors (including email delivery and web hosting services) who access your data solely to perform services on our behalf. These vendors are contractually bound to keep your information confidential and may not use it for any other purpose. (b) Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or government authority. Where permitted, we will attempt to notify you of such requests. (c) Protection of Rights: We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent fraud, protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the safety of users or the public. (d) Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of substantially all assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. (e) Aggregate Data: We may share anonymized, aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
8. Public Content
Polls you submit to the community feed and votes cast on public polls are visible to registered users and, depending on poll settings, to the general public. Your username and display name are associated with the polls you create. If you do not want your polls to appear publicly, do not submit them to the community feed. Votes on private crew polls are visible only to the poll creator and crew members with appropriate permissions.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. Poll data, votes, and comments are retained to preserve your history and the integrity of poll results. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information and associated content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain information for legal, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes. Age verification records (date of birth and account creation timestamp) may be retained for up to 7 years for compliance purposes even after account deletion. Anonymous voter keys expire after 90 days and are not linked to deleted account data.
10. Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include: password hashing using industry-standard cryptographic algorithms; encrypted HTTPS connections for all data transmission; access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis; and regular review of our security practices. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to protect your account with a strong, unique password. Please notify us immediately at support@crewdecide.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
